8th International Dharma Dhamma Conference in Ahmedabad!
August 23rd, 2024The 8th International Dharma Dhamma Conference was held today (23) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
The Conference was chaired by the Vice President of India, Mr. Jagdeep Dhankar.
The Conference aims to bring together religious, political, and thought leaders from Dharma-Dhamma traditions to ponder over building a philosophical framework for the emerging new world order.
The Conference has been organized by the India Foundation in collaboration with the University of Gujarat, Ahmedabad.
State Governor of Gujarat, Ashcharya Devrat, Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel, Treasurer of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi, Tir Kshetra Trust Swami Sri Govinda Dev Giri Maharaj, Vice Chancellor of Gujarat University,Neerja Gupta, Sri Lankan Minister of Buddhashasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs, Vidura Wickramanayake,Ministers of Cultural Affairs representing Nepal, Bhutan, Cambodia together with a group of dignitaries were a part of the event.
