July 19th, 2023The ‘K-pop World Festival’ singing and dancing performance program was held at Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall for the Korean week.
Hon. Vidura Wickramanayaka, Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs participated as the chief guest of this performance program organized by the Korean Embassy in Sri Lanka. The minister gave a congratulatory speech to the participants.
The Korean Embassy organized this function as an effort to promote cultural cooperation and bring globally recognized music and dance of Korea closer to the Sri Lankans. More than 1,200 K-pop fans from Sri Lanka participated in this event.
Mrs. Miyon LEE, Korean Ambassador to Sri Lanka, and a delegation from that country also joined the event.
