Granting Tower Hall Artist New Year Awards
சித்திரை 11th, 2026Tower Hall Theatre Foundation, Central Cultural Fund and the Ministry of Buddhasasana, religious and Cultural Affairs jointly conducted new year price awarding ceremony to 150 artists including veteran artists that provided a significant contribution to the drama field and obtaining allowance from Tower Hall Theatre Foundation. This was held in head office of the Tower Hall Theatre Foundation with precedence of Hon. Gamagedara Dissanayake, Deputy Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs, Hon. M. M. Mohammad Munir Mulafar, Deputy Minister of Religious and Cultural Affairs.
Dr. Nilan Cooray, Director General of the Central Cultural Fund, Mr. Priyadarshana Udakumbura, Additional Director General, Mr. Keerthi Welisarage, Chairman of Arts Council, Dr. D. M. S. Dissanayake, Director General of the Tower Hall Theatre Foundation, many
veteran artists including veteran popular actor and singer Mr. Wijerathna Warakagoda and entire staff of the Tower Hall Theatre Foundation was participated in this occasion.
