All Ceylon Silmata National Board Meeting…
November 21st, 2022The meeting of the Samastha Lanka Silmatha Jathika Mandalaya was held on 18th of this month in the auditorium of the Ministry of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs
The meeting of the Samastha Lanka Silmatha Jathika Mandalaya was held under the precedence of Hon. President Ven. Polonnaruwe Dhammananda Silmaniyo and Hon. Chief Registrar Ven. Mulgirigala Seelapriya Manindra Silmaniyo with the participation of the Registrars and Presidents representing all the other districts except for the Northern and Eastern Provinces.
The attention was paid to the problems faced by the Silmathas participated in this and other Silmathas in different areas. Furthermore, many matters were discussed in regard of organizing the ceremonies to be held in next year.
The heads of the ministry including Mr. Niranjan Jayakodi, Commissioner of Buddhist Affairs (Development and Progress Control) participated in this. The Hon Minister Vidura Wickremanayake also participated in this event.
