June 21st, 2023The attention of the minister was mostly paid to the ability of iimplementing various programs for further strengthening the cultural relations between Iran and Sri Lanka and thereby focus on the promotion of tourism in Sri Lanka in this discussion held today(19) between the two countries. Also, it was proposed to hold a cultural festival as well as a film festival by showing films from Iran and Sri Lanka. Furthermore, the Minister submitted a proposal to start a Sri Lankan cultural center in Iran and invitations were also received to visit the Iranian Cultural Center in Sri Lanka.
Dr. B. Moazami Goodarzi participated Representing the Iranian Embassy and Hon. Vidura Wickremanayake, Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs and other heads of the ministry also participated in this discussion.
