75th Initial Day Ceremony of Indian Council for Cultural Relations in Colombo…
April 29th, 2024The 75th Initial Day Ceremony of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), established to strengthen cultural ties between India and Sri Lanka, was held today (29) at the Viharamahadevi Park, Colombo.
This was organized by the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Colombo and the event was vivid with Indian classical dance and musical elements highlighting cultural harmony.
Also, financial prizes were given to the winners of the Pratibha Sangam competition held on the occasion of the 75th initial day of the Indian Council (ICCR).
H.E. Santhosh Ja, Indian High Commissioner in Sri Lanka, Hon. Dr. Susil Premajayantha, Minister of Education, Hon. Vidura Wickremanayake, Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs, Dr. Ankuran Dutta, Director of Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center were present on this occasion.
