Arranging measures to attract foreign tourists to “Ulpange”…
June 26th, 2023The place of ancient value known as “Ulpange”, where the queens of the reigned kings of the Kandy kingdom are believed to have bathed, is currently maintained as an information center of the Department of Archaeology.
A lot of information about Kandy Kingdom can be studied from this place. Hon. Vidura Wickremanayake, Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs who came to observe this place gave instructions to the officers there to take necessary actions to implement a program to bring it closer to the people in a more formal manner and a method of providing information to tourists and explorers who come at night and
to implement a program specially to attract foreign tourists to this place.
