Cash prizes are given for the Vesak lantern competitions of the State Vesak Festival !
June 6th, 2024Cash prizes of seven lakh rupees were given to the winners of the Vesak lantern competition of the State Vesak Festival.
These cash prizes were presented by Ven. Kosgolle Selarathana Thero, Chairman of the District Sasanakshaka Mandalaya in Matale and Ven. Mugunuwela Anuruddha Thero, Secretary of the Samastha Lanka Shasanarakshaka Mandalaya to Mr. Somarathna Vidanapathirana, Secretary to the Ministry of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs.
