July 11th, 2023A function jointly organized by the Iranian Cultural Center and the Colombo Public Library was held last (11th) at the Colombo Public Library for the Sri Lanka-Iranian Children’s Friendship Week
Various workshops such as literature, drama, sports and film pageants have been included in this and Hon. Vidura Wickramanayaka, Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs participated as the chief guest of this function in the opening ceremony.
Dr. Bisam Gudarsi, Councilor of Iran Cultural Center, Mr. Kesohail, Head of Economic and Consular Section, Mr. Seyed Shosthafa Halem, Head of Political Section, Mrs. Waruni Gangabadaarachchi, Chief Librarian of Colombo Public Library and many children also joined this event.
Sri Lanka – Iran Children’s Friendship Week is being held today (15) till 4.30 pm.
